One more has been killed: Implications for service provision for persons with intellectual disability in recent Hong Kong

A tragedy occurred recently in Hong Kong as the attack of COVID-19 rocked whole society. This brief note intends to call for local and international discussions about difficult cases caused by infection control measures. Current social distancing practice requires work practitioners detect high-risk not only those living alone but also together, assess risks care. In addition, workers should join forces with stakeholders’ associations advocate suitable sufficient service provision order enhance well-being families children intellectual disabilities.
